A prominent researcher, writer , speaker, editor and specialist in Silver Dollars, Varieties, and VAMS, as well as a founding officer of the "Society of Silver Dollar Collectors" (S.S.D.C.). 

 Jeff's' collecting interests have spanned four decades. For the past twenty years his primary focus has been Morgan and Peace dollars, where he has devoted his energies to discovering and attributing the more than 2000 known die varieties. As a result of his research Jeff is often called upon by trade papers, and organizations for his silver dollar expertise. 

 In 1996 Jeff and Co-Author Michael S. Fey, Ph.D. released "The Top 100 Morgan Dollar Varieties; The VAM Keys," this publication immediately changed the way U.S. Silver Dollars are collected, causing key die varieties to become the primary focus. As a result of the tremendous impact Jeff has made in the area of Silver Dollar collecting, the National Silver Dollar Roundtable (N.S.D.R.) elected JEFF as the N.S.D.R. "Man of the Year" for 1997. Mr. Oxman currently serves on the Board of Directors for the N.S.D.R.
